Good point-- the 50s do generally sound like the singer is in the plane of the speakers. Then again, it sounds pretty much like that in Stereo or in DTS Neo:6. DPL2 Music on the other hand, sounds like they just got locked in the other room... But that's a different conversation. I've never heard the M2s or the M3s, but the M22s are very very nice.
