With those combo XLR-1/4inch inputs it is possible to connect the RCA pre-outs on standard Home AV receivers. You just create an unbalanced RCA to 1/4-inch cable. Since the distance between your receiver and amp is so short, the unbalanced cable will be a fine alternative to a balanced cable.
