My parents are looking for a new TV. They just moved, and they are using an old 27" for now. One catch is the sun glares on the current TV in the afternoon. They aren't sure what they are doing as far as window treatments yet, so they want something that handles light well and doesn't have bad problems with glare. I know front projector is bad without good light control, is there a type that is especially good? They are currently sitting about 17 feet away and are looking to get a 55" (I know, too small for that far away, but they don't want to go any bigger).
