That is why I liked the modular design of my previous Emotiva MPS-1. You could purchase just the chasis, and start with one or more monoblock amps as needed, for a total of 7 channels. It is hard for most to justify almost $4K right out of the starting blocks, that is if I want to stay married. \:\)
