I hope this thread stays civil. Seems like the gas threads on my other hangouts always go downhill pretty quickly...

Central Illinois, in the middle-of-nowhere farm country...
$3.79 for 87 (E10)
$3.86 for 89 (E10)
$3.95 for 93 (E10)
$2.95 for E85

Both of our cars require 90+ octane, so the $4/gallon threshold is here for us already. We're fortunate in that my wife and I live less than 3 miles away from our daily jobs, so our time and gas usage for commuting is very low. Though we take a lot of road trips on weekends and during the summer, so we feel it there.

I have a motorcycle that I ride on nice days that gets about 45mpg around town. I was actually thinking of selling it this spring, but changed my mind with the current trend in gas prices. I do find some enjoyment in the fact that these days I'm not looked upon as a freak when I go to the store on the bike to pick up a few things.

Though it is somewhat depressing to fill up the bike for the same amount of money that it cost to fill up my car 8 years ago.
