Sorry - one more suggestion, check your firewall to be sure it is not the culprit. On the computer running WMP and make sure that it a) has windows media player "unblocked" (right click on the network icon in your system tray and choose firewall settings, then find WMP and "unblock" it), and b) if you have something like Norton Internet Security running, disable it while doing this testing to ensure it is not the problem.
When done testing, uninstall Norton Internet Security and shred the CD it came on. Oops... editorial comment slipped in. Feel free to disregard the last piece of advice.
Finally, once you've enabled sharing in WMP, make sure the Denon is on... Within 30 seconds or so, you should get a pop up on the computer running WMP asking you whether you approve the new device (the Denon) to share your media library.
