I live about 400 feet from a local news radio tower. when i have my tv on, there is a loud background noise of what the tower is broadcasting, as well as the sound of the show i'm watching. If i hit mute, they both go away, but even if the tv volume is all the way down, the radio is still going. I do have cable service going to the tv, as well as a dvd player hooked up. Radio shack sold me a couple of rf chokes to wrap the cords around, but that did no good. Anyway, if anyone has any ideas, please let me know. It's horribly annoying and i don't really have the extra money to buy a new tv that supposedly won't do it. Thanks for the help!
