25 wins?!?! Possible, but in an era when pitchers only get about 32 starts, even winning 20 is a lot more rare than it used to be.

Bob Welch won 27 in 1990. Bob Welch?!?! Had to look it up. I'd have guessed - wrongly - Ron Guidry or Steve Carlton.

Walter Johnson had 531 Complete Games (5th all time). Gaylord Perry had 303 (39th). Halladay IS amazing; he has led the league in complete games 5 out of the last 7 years - with a number like 9/year. So, if he pitches until he's about 60, he can make the top 50 in that category.

Just having fun with numbers - I do think he is a wonderful player and I enjoy seeing his games. They just don't make 'em like they used to.
