Good report, Paul. Glad you're happy with the speakers. I borrowed a pair of M3s a few weeks back and was REALLY impressed with them -- they probably should have been the first speakers I bought rather than M2s.

I think the smell comes from the plastic wrapping itself but not 100% sure...
