I have brought back my M22 to my fronts after months with my Monitor Audio Silver S6 up front and M22 for rears. The S6 went back to the shop waiting for PMC's. I played back some titles that I have had for some time. If you are into asian comedy with super fake kung-fu action using English subtitles I would recommend seeing Korean - "Volcano High" and Chinese - "Shaolin Soccer". Since never hearing those DVDs on the Axioms I revisited the movies over the weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed the effects specially in "Volcano High". The M22 brought out details that I missed when I saw this movie in the Toronto film festivals.

"Volcano high" - Matrix-like action in your local highschool...with more fashion style.

"Shaolin Soccer" - World Soccer on super steroids.

Note: these are English subtitled. Don't get the english dubbed if available. Its not the same. You want to play the sounds in full DD Ex and take the full surround effects of your HT Axiom setup. Both are mindless, action pack with comedy (the subtitles can be quick). A great way to waste the weekend. Go to your local china town DVD media shop. They will have it for really cheap (Like 3 DVD's for $20 CDN).

Even though the M22 ($550 cdn) are bookshelf size. It gave the Monitor Audio Silver S6 ($1250 cdn) floorstanders a great run for its money, sound and power. Just pair the M22 with a great sub and you woundn't believe how well those bookshelf-like speaker can do. My friends didn't even noticed I changed the speakers. They were actually surprised that a tall bookshelf could actually compete side by side with a big floorstander in clarity, power and control.

Being a big soccer fan, Shaolin Soccer is perhaps my most anticipated movie, ever. I've just yet to find it in video stores. hopefully i'll look harder and watch it real soon.

Goto Montreal Chinatown (all 3 blocks of it )any place they sell DVDs. Your mostlikely find it there and for cheap. The have it all over Toronto Chinatown for cheap. Make sure it has English subtitles (which 95% do, unless you get a 5 year old copy). If you still can't find it I can work something out to send you that and other recommended titles.

Speaking of subtitles, check out this site:

Take the time to read a few if you can. Had me in stitches.
