Had my 60's up to a max of 105-107db at the listening position at 8 feet. Music type hard rock. They were not breaking up but my ears would only let me listen at this level for a few brief moments before I would giggle and turn them down to like 98db or so. If you are getting something bad at 95db it is likely a driver or the recording because these speakers are certainly capable of much higher levels especially with that kind of power. I am only running 85wpc out of the ONKYO.
