From what I understand, the suround line (QS4 specifically) cannot be placed on a shelf and must be either wall mouted or on a stand?

I have a ledge about 7 inches wide and three feet tall that runs the perimiter of my small room. I have my surrounds on the ledge in the corners now.

Because the QS4s have a woofer firing up and down they cannot be placed on a shelf. What does work very well is to turn the 90 degrees so the woofers are firing side to side. You will still need to secure them to the back wall but they will be able to sit right on the shelf this way.
