Hey guys,

I finally got my new tv Sony's kdf-e42a10. ATM the CC speaker is under it in my entertainment center. It sounds OK there but I seem to of lost some of the clarity, along with raiseing the tv a bit too high. Besides that, if I go with a axiom center this won't work at all.

Anyone here actually used one of these omni-mount things http://www.audioadvisor.com/store/productdetail.asp?sku=OMNCCH1P&loc=2

The back of the tv has a pretty steep angle, the idea of ordering it then having to go to home depot to customize it doesn't sound like something I really want to do.

Any ideas appreciated.

Leaf
PS.. Do not buy this TV! Severe Upgradeitous symptoms will manifest themselves almost immediately. IE new center, surrounds and sub to be ordered shortly.

Leaf, hopefully someone will post with some more helpful info. But it looks like the TV in the pic from the website has a pretty steep back too. It looks like it would work, but like you said- it would be nice to know better before purchasing. Good luck.

Be careful using this type of mount with any item heavier than what the television manufacturer states is safe to place atop the set. Many have reported seeing a dangerous amount of bowing both on the top bezel and the back of TV's when a moderately heavy item (20-25 lb.) is placed on it.
