I know there have been postings on the board about MAME cabinets and such to have that arcade feel at home (minus the gum and soda and puke rubbed into the carpet).
It seems a company out of Hongkong is putting out a (I presume licensed) cabinet of 12 midway games for $500.00. I found the price in Maximum PC (not on the website).

Right now I wish I lived in a place big enough to hold one of these (damn my tiny studio).

One of our resident MAME experts (the recently unemployed, MIA but sorely missed nickbuol) already dissuaded me on this product. It does seem awfully short. I saw it at Costco the other day. Seems like the arcade version of HTIB.

You might be just as happy with something like this.

I echo what Tom has said. The Midway unit only has about 3-4 games that I would be interested in anyway. For the money, I'm considering building one myself once things settle down after Xmas. Besides I need to pay off that EP500 that will be arriving soon.

Tom, Nick will be back, as most of you know he was let go from his job. Basically, he took the fall for something his boss didn't have the balls to back him on. Anyway, he is looking around town at other prospective jobs. I'm sure he'll land something soon.

Later guys.
