I currently have an energy encore system that I am selling. The HT is pretty good but music sounds terrible. I have 2 of the Encore 8 subs that come with the systems and will be keeping one. Any idea how this would work with a set of M22? Should I sell this sub and get a different one? I will be building a dedicated HT in my basement but for now I need something for musine and HT until the bid daddy in built. Thanks~

It really depends on what you are looking for and how big your listening space is going to be. What didn't you like about your music listening experience before?

I'm also assuming that for you, the bass wasn't a problem. If that's the case, the Encore subs will probably be fine with the M22. However, I had an Energy S8.1 and replaced it with an EP500. It was a huge improvement for HT.
