As far as I understand, none of the Axiom speakers ever come with a speaker wire.

you can purchase wireless speakers, and i've also seen, for sale, transmitters to make your speakers wireless.
they are NOT as good as cable connections, though. they lose data in the transmitting process.

Could you imagine watching a movie, then all of a sudden your surround speaker cuts out during a good action scene. Oops, hold on I have to change the batteries in my speakers. That would be more embarassing than invighting your friends over to listen to a bose system when they have axioms.
