Things are still moving along...
Since I'm pretty much stuck putting my speakers in a cabinet, I've been wondering...
Our current cabinet plans involve hiding M60s behind doors in the cabinet, and opening/removing the doors when I plan to listen to them. I don't like that plan. With bookshelf speakers, I can probably forego the wife's need to "hide" the speakers.
I tend not to crank the volume up all that high when listening to movies or music. So, what would I sacrifice to go with a pair of M22's instead of the M60s? Either way, I'll have a decent subwoofer in the mix. I've read somewhere (I won't mention where
) that buying towers + a subwoofer are like paying for your bass twice.
