Success! Got two bottles waiting for ya. Thanks for the cool PM. Look forward to seeing you this weekend to do a beer exchange.

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together?

This sorta reminds me of a certain gathering last October. I'm clearly playing the role of Howling Mad Murdock, and I'll grant Peter the role of Hannibal Smith because he is the king of the post count. Guess that leaves Ken and Tom to duke it out for the roles of B.A. and the Face ...

Medic8r, you've got Old Guardian? where did you find it? I've been trying to get my hands on some.

Also, I haven't bothered to read all 130 some pages of this thread so I'm sure it's been brought up....anybody been collecting ALL of the vertical epic series? I've only had 2 and haven't been able to hold on to them...I drank them.

Have you tried Dogfish Head 90-minute IPA? That's some good stuff.

Vassillios, my experience with the Vertical Epic series has been like yours, unfortunately.

It also sounds like we brewed on about the same scale. Except I did not yet divest. If I could get a HDTV out of the deal, I might get serious about selling, though...

The 90 is good, but the 120 is where it's at.

I kept just enough stuff to extract brew if I really want to...but I figure i'll just buy the good stuff for now. It REALLY pained me to sell my set-up...considering the fact that I had only brewed 1 batch after having acquired my second stainless fermenter (sabco 15.5 gal).

but hey, I got a Sony 50a2000 and a Denon 2307 CI out of the deal...and I watch more movies than I brew...so the trade off was good...I just wish I had made enough to buy some M60's, a VP150 and some QS8's as well

I am just now fully recovered from yesterday's Brew at the Zoo. I had some very good beers, including the best beer I've ever tasted. Lots of great IPAs, a few good pale ales, one good stout, one skunky Pale Ale w/ 9.5%abv.

So on to the best beer ever. Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA. One of the pourers brought a bottle from the brewery and he allowed my friends and me to split a 2 oz. pour. Absolute heaven. Best thing ever. Bar none. I left one of you a borderline drunk dial voice mail about it.

My friend Jason -- Tom, you met him in DC when you were out -- will be attending the NASCAR race next Saturday in Dover, Delaware. Dogfish Head isn't far from there so he'll stop by the brewery and attempt to bring back an ample amount of 120-minute for me. It will be a long week. ..

Okay, you've talked me into wanting to try the Dogfish Head. Checking the website, though, I see there are no dealers in California!!!? What the. . .?
Anybody ever order beer through the mail? Oh, and have it arrive in one solid piece?

Thanks for the report, Peter.

Sean, I can't believe there is something NOT available at BevMo.

The 120 is a great beer, but it's about $9.00 / 12 oz here. Ouch.
