I have the Aperion 532's as well as the 533vac, they are decent speakers and the center channel is very good, but Imho they don't hold a candle to the Axioms, they are now being used in a three channel system in the master bedroom.

One more question guys - is there a consideration involved as far as receivers go in deciding between the 60's and the 80's?

If you decide to go with the 80's you want to make sure the receiver can handle 4 ohms, the 60's can be driven by about any receiver.

Axiom M80 are an easy 4 ohm load so most Denon, H/K and high end receivers can handle them.

If your moniker is an indication then you will like the 80's. Maybe even add an amp in the mix for real loudness without distortion.

Turn It Up: you never did post what receiver you have or are considering.
