I never did and saw an article of things to do this weekend for kids that included the Maker faire.

SO COOL! This was definitely a super geek/hacker fest. Pretty anything that can be hacked, was. People made robots out dustbusters, sold robot kits, people hacked their Prius to go up to 100+ MPG on a gallon, home made bikes, hack your cell phones, control a balloon w/ SMS, etc.

I got a subscription, though I might not ever make anything but it's cool to see. The mag's almost like a Martha Stewart for techno geeks.

Weird... Rob Cockerham from Cockeyed.com just posted about the Faire never heard of it before that.
