Damn, damn, damn! I'm going to be working in LA the week before! Bad timing.

I'm sure they'll tour closer to DC someday...

hi everyone, thank you for the kind responses re: my review. ajax, have you ever performed any of Eric Whitacre arrangements in a choir? if any of you aren't familiar with him, and like choral music, i strongly suggest purchasing BYU Choir - Complete Accapella Works Eric Whitacre. you will be dumbfounded by his arrangements and usage of imagery in music. thanks again for the kind remarks about the review, kudus should go to craig, after all it's his system!

No, Though I love choral music, I haven't sung any since high school choir way back toward the middle of the last century. I was a professional musician/performer who sang for his supper (and that's about all I got for it too. ) I will check out the BYU choir. Sounds good.

I this the CD to which you refer?

Eric Whitacre: The Complete A Cappella Works, 1991-2001 - Brigham Young University Singers

yes!!! that is the famed cd. i have actually sung one of the songs on the album, Cloudburst. it is the song most people are familiar with if they have heard of eric whitacre. many highschool and collegiate choirs sing that piece. let me know when you get it, i would be highly interested in reading about your cd review of the album, and interested in how it sounded on your audio setup!!!

Wonderful review Jason, glad you enjoyed the demo.

My only advice is to check with other 80 owners that have tried the Yammy 2600 to make sure there was no issues with the 4ohm 80's. There have been some Yammy models in the past that will go into protect shutdown mode.

Hope to see you around more often...Randy
