I know it is the 31st on the East Coast so I thought I would get this thread started early.

Happy Birthday inthedeck (sorry I don't know your real name.

Hey, thanks -- Randy, right? My name is Manish. Pronounced mun (as in bun) eesh as in (sheesh) - so
mun-eesh.

I really appreciate the wishes!

Manish, I figured that it wasn't "In", but I didn't guess "Manish". Enjoy the best of a Happy Birthday(has Tarun been hinting that another 600 might be coming your way?).

Happy birthday, Munish! By the way, thanks for the pronunciation guide. Seen the name a few times, but never knew how to actually say it.

Happy Birthday, Manish. And, thank you for helping us pronounce your name correctly. I feel the least respect one can show another is to simply get their name right. May I assume that the emphasis is on the second sylable (Man-ish)? Or, is it on the first (Man-ish)?

The emphasis is on the second part...so Man-ish. As pronounced, it would be muneesh. As written, it's Manish.

Again, thanks to all for your wishes. Now, time to get ready, and go to the dentist. Yuck!

I like going to the dentist! And the dental hygienist.

To me, there are few bigger luxuries than having someone scrape all the junk off your teeth. Talk about pampering!

Happy Birthday, Manish. I hope your stay at the dentist is short, so you can go the party and eats lots of sugar drenched birthday treats.

Happy Birthday! I hope you get as much "or something" as you can stand!

JP, unless your dentist has an office that resembles Hooters, I'm thinking you look at the world in a different way than most people.

I kind of like it.

Composing isn't the isusue, it's the drool on the keyboard that causes problems...but luckily with some preventative tips from the forum's kind "geriatric" crowd (you know who you are) it's no longer an issue. Now if they just had some tips on changing your own diapers, I would never have to leave my computer!
