Somebody in the Calgary area is going to be very happy. They should have picked up or be receiving their EP500 today. I really wish I could come to grips with my desires for bigger and better items.......I know I am inflicted with upgraditis

I hope that it's you, or else I going to have to reprimand you for stalking the DHL delivery guy.

Unfortunately its not me, but I do work for one of Axiom's courier companies(they use all 3 major couriers in canada) and see their product in the warehouse quite often. This was the first time I was able to spy the EP500 box.

Now I understand. That makes a lot more sense to your thread (knowing you have to see the boxes at work going to others).

I guess the bright side is that when you DO order yours, you don't have to wonder when the courier will show up to the door. You get it right away to take home with you?

Anyway, I feel your pain.

It was probably Hutzal's EP500 as I see on the "audio or video" thread he started in Home Theater one of his last posts he said he'd decided to go with the EP500 amd M22's (instead of the SVS PB10 and M60's) for only about $100 more.

I'm envious too. I got his mains and the sub he was considering.

I ordered my originals and asked Axiom to send them "hold for pick up" that way when I came to work I could get them. It was nice.

And No I didn't look at the address, I am not usually that close to the freight so I wouldn't want anyone to think I was scoping things out. You guys have no idea what goes on...... But I do apologize to whomever it was for, as I am sure my drooling most likely made over to the box.

jakewash,

I'm a new Axiom owner and I believe you might have been drooling over my EP500. Timeframe seems right as I picked it up about a week and a half ago (in Calgary, obviously!). Just happened to be searching the board for Calgary and came across this post.

BTW - I ordered the Epic 60/500 5.1 system. Paired it with the Outlaw 990/7125 combo. Just set it up last night as I just got the cables from Blue Jeans two days ago. Ran into one snag, though: the 990 receiver and cables don't fit well into my entertainment unit (also new) so it looks like I've got some mods to do

Looking forward to giving it a good go this weekend. Still trying to determine the best configuration...

Anyways - just thought I would drop a note saying hi!

Cheers!

Bryan

I WISH it was mine!

Hahaha, in actually, my basement project is taking alot more time and money than I expected.

I am not sure when the audio will be ordered, hopefully sooner than later!

Yea that seems to be a common problem with me too. I estimate about $5,000 to get my set up where I would want it. Only leaves me $5,000 short! Doh!!!
