Greetings, I am Axiom lover newbie to the forum.I have m3ti's with Deneon 1802 for casual listeneing-excellent.I also like ability to rock out so I can use the Denon pre-outs with twin bridged Audiosource Amp3's that will give what Audiosource claims to be 400 WPC.OK,.(life story follows-warning) So I tried Cerwin-Vega V12f, loud but trashy.Replaced these with new Bose 901's, better but room for improvement. Suddenly I think 'Why not high power Axiom's?'. Now for the real question-Would I be crazy to overdrive M60's with so-called 400 watts or would M80's be better? The answer seems intuitively to be M80's, but what do you think? Thanks, Phil

You will not be able to power the M80, due to being 4 ohm, with the bridged amps.

No brainer - get the 80's. You'll avoid another upgrade down the road.

First of all, you would not be overpowering the 60's. It would be unlikely that you would ever be using all 400 watts anyway.
What "Wid" said in regards to the 80's.
