I have an older pair of Paraigm monitor 9s. It is time to upgrade to a new HT system, and I am seriously considering the Paradigm Reference series.

While doing my pre-purchase research I began reading all of these fabulous reviews on the Axioms. Generally speaking, most people seem to prefer the Axioms over the Paradigm Monitor series.

Does anyone know how the Axioms (M80, VP150, and QS8) compare to the Paradigm Reference (Studio 100, CC-470, and ADP-470) series?

Thanks foryour help.

I have heard M80s and M60s and I own M60s right now. I was considering the Paradigm Reference series 60 before I bought Axioms.

Paradigms are good speakers but I did not hear anythin great from the paradigms which would make me extra $$$ more.

I have paradigm Monitor 9 and they are no way closer to Axioms. I would compare M60 with Reference 60 and M80 with Reference 100 but I have not heard Reference 100s.

Definitely Paradigms look much better than Axioms but it is the balance between Aesthetics and Budget...

Were thte 80's going to be overkill in your room, or did you just like the 60's better, for either price sakes or performance?
