There is this ancient IBM RISC box I administer and we leave it on all the time. Last time I powered it off the thing would not start up till after 20 minutes. I had to wait for the system to cool down. I always though a nice warm system is generally more likely to start up than a cold one. In this case I was wrong.

pmbuko, ok, I may have learned something ;-) My amp is A/AB and warms up even without signal, as far I understand because in class A the transistor are amplifing no matter whether there is signal or not [I'm good in software, here I'm out of my depth so I may give wrong reasons for right things again ;-) Anyway, if it's warm, after 3-4 hours, there is a difference, not earth-shattering but enough to matter.

Interesting aobut the 60A. Yes, I didn't remember that of course you ain't pushing 220V to the speakers ;-)
