You go, Larry!

The M60's JUST MAKE SENSE.

They hit the sweet spot in the price/performance ratio; you need that three way tower, but you don't HAVE to go off the deep end.

They are the right size. I mean really, the M80's are excessively deep. Freaks, I tell you.

They look cool. As much as I respect Ian's designs, that whole "how many drivers can I put on the baffle" thing just doesn't excite me. And if - like me - you actually have the grills on, the M60 is BY FAR the best looking Axiom speaker.

They sound great. I have a giant room, and they play as sweet and loud as I want.

M60 > all!

Of course, this is all very easy for me, since I'm from Tacoma (which is NOT Seattle).

The thread has just started, and already, those "other speaker" guys have:

1. Crashed the "M60s owners only" thread.
2. Threatened to "jack" the thread....(with some kind of salad).
3. Their leader has even started a dreaded speaker wire thread!

They are looking kinda scared....so, start posting M60 owners!

As your mortal enemy (a simultaneous member of the M50 and M80 posses), I have to admire your capacity for self-delusion.

It's clear that anything but the M60s is Axiom's flagship speaker.

Flahship speaker? Is that like the civilian Hummer is the Flagship of SUVs?

In a similar comparison, my Jeep Rubicon can go anywhere a Hummer can go and then some because it's smaller. I've proven it and it was one third of the cost even after a few mods.

Actually, I've never heard the 80s so I can't legitimately comment but hey, I like talkin Jeeps!

With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

Hey, while we're on the hummer bashing track, I love the video of the H2 whose axle breaks. Going over a rock... bang--both wheels pointing towards one another. Heh heh heh...

There's also the one with the H2 that gets stuck on a stump at a Jeep convention. The Jeeps have to tow it off. Heh heh heh...

That's what happens when you pay $30000 extra for a rebody of a Chevy Tahoe.

Ken,

You too?

ANOTHER "jack" attempt......AND I'm guilty of self delusion, eh?

I'll have you know, not only ARE the M60s the best Axioms to date, and "flagship worthy".....even this M60 thread itself has been highly rated!

Heh heh heh.
