Hi,
I have a 6 year old pair of Axiom 1.5s, which have performed great until the last few weeks. The woofer on one of my speakers cuts in and out (mostly out). I've switched the speakers with the L and R channels and it's definitely the speaker, not the amp.
This has not come from any abuse as the speakers are in immaculate condition and never get played excessively loud. My amp also has plenty of power so clipping is not an issue.
Could this be a problem with the crossover? I'm no technical expert so I would appreciate any advice on what this may be and how I can fix the problem.
Thanks

It may be as simple as a bad wire connection at the driver. I would pop out the offending woofer and check the wire clips.
