New Axiom owner I have the m22's,QS8,vp150 and ep350.I bought the stands for the QS8 and m22 speakers. I have decided the FMS16 stands are to short. I am trying to figure out what kind of tubing I can use in it's place to raise them by about 4 inches. Any ideas?

did you try the supplied spikes? It raises the stands by 2.5 inches.

Yep the spikes are on. The spikes that came with mine were only about an inch or so tall. Do you think I could by the taller tubes by themselves from Axiom?

You can get Axiom to make custom stands. I would probably thing about returning those stands and get your money back, and look elsewhere for some 20" stands.

Scot, welcome. The first point is that you should use stacks of old magazines, newpapers etc. under the FMS16s to see if raising them is actually an improvement. If so, you can consider a more elegant raiser, which wouldn't necessarily have to be a longer tube.
