May 1st finally brings us the new Rush CD. I'll be first in line. The first single sounds good and has a lot of sound coming from three people. Lets hope it is engineered better than the last CD from Rush.
Now getting into the subject line, the same CD will be released as an MVI DVD on June 5th, which I will also buy.
Now most groups release their CD'S and Limited edition CD's on the same day, so consumers have a choice(which is usually the Limited Ed.). I would not be able to wait till June 5th, so I will have to buy both (I'm not complaining)
just emphasizing the smart marketing. Anyone else with me on this? Maybe it's not marketing but logistics?

The DVD doesn't come out until June? I didn't know that. I will probably be buying that one.
I would guess it is logistics over marketing, as Rush has a history of being fair to the fans and not picking their pockets each chance they get.

I remember pre-ordering something when I bought the concert tickets. Probably the CD. I never really warmed up to Vapor Trails. They've gotten about as much of my money over the last six months as they are likely to get for a while.

Actually, the DVD will be released on Amazon.com on May 10th. The regular cd is available on May 1st.
