Sorry, I just re-read you first post and noted that you stated the ambient temperature in the room with the air off. With that kind of temperature Celsius (between 86 and 90 degrees F) I would think the amp plate might get very warm.

To be honest, I don't know because I never let my living room get that hot, so I'm just speculating. To err on the side of caution, forward your description to Debbie at Axiom and ask her.

To operate the 12-volt trigger, 100 milliamperes or more will do just fine. (By the way, you don't need the "h" after 100 mA. The "h" represents hours and normally is a rating of battery capacity.)

I bought the trigger adapter anyway and tested it for a few days ...

it's still warm, not as warm as before but I don't know now if it's because of temps here going down.

I emailed the address you gave me but got no reply.
