Is the M2 essentially the same as the M22 less one woofer?
Is the sound quality essentially the same with less bass?
Do all of the bookshelf models use the same tweeter?
If not, please specify the difference between models.
Thanks.

Hi,
The MZero, M1, M2, VPZero, VP50, QS2, and QS4 all use the same tweeter, a 1-inch diaphragm mounted on a 1/2" voice coil. The other bookshelf models, including the M22 and the M3Ti, use the same 1-inch diaphragm mounted on a 1-inch voice coil. In terms of performance, this means the M22 will have higher power handling and less distortion at peak sound levels. Likewise, the M22's dual woofers will produce greater bass output more cleanly at higher sound levels.

No two speakers ever sound identical, of course, but a phrase we used to use in blind listening tests at the National Research Council for two speakers that were very alike, and good, was "similarly good." I think you'd notice greater clarity and sparkle with better defined bass from the M22 with loud music.
