This is a stupid question. I was just wondering if anyone has used rotating platforms under their speakers when they were experimenting with toe-in. Anyone?

Can't say I have but it sounds like it would work good.

I would think a simple peice of plywood with casters would be much easier. Especially since you could go in any direction, not just circles!

Good point, though I think I may have to make something nicer, so I won't have to remove them. Locking casters would be good. Whenever I feel like I'm done playing, I could lock them, and then when I feel the need to adjust further, unlock. Fun, right?

Ha ha. Hey, maybe! I mean, I wouldn't really be making them myself. I'd have to get my dad to help me, as I'm not handy AT ALL. If it actually turns into something that works well, I'd be happy to help a brother out.

Hey, that's a great idea. We could all go out and race our M80s, see which finish finishes faster.

If you attached some light rope to both sides of each rotating platform, you could sit in your sweet spot and rotate them without getting up.

If anybody comes in and wonders what your doing, just call out "whao Horse WAOUU!"

I just use a couple of Irobot Roomba vacuums to move my 80's around for proper location, plus it keeps the floor clean.

I vaguely remember that conversation. You're lucky there's no People for the Ethical Treatment of Robots... yet.
