My question is recommendation for surrounds, QS4 vs. QS8.
I have Paradigm Monitor 3's as mains, CC370 center and still comparing subs.
Using Denon AVR3802 with Parasound monoblocks for mains.
My room (in an old Victorian) is 16'x16' with plaster walls, 9' ceilings, leather sofa, upholstered wing chair, end tables, lamps, no drapes, wall-to-wall carpeting.
I listen 80% music (classical, jazz)/20% movies. Not looking for the "ultimate" Matrix rumble but good solid effects from DTS 5.1 music DVDs'.
Realize that I wouldn't go wrong with the QS8, but wonder if QS4 would be perfectly adequate?

Thanks for any input!

If you are considering using the surround channel for most of your 80% music listening as well as the movies then I would be temped to stay with the QS8s. Otherwise you are getting into overkill for the amount of use, room size, and balance of the system. The QS4s will give you the solid effects you are looking for.
