AV receiver now comes with Zones. Has anyone tried installing the system with Zones. How does it work?

Can you be more specific? I'll try to answer in general terms.
The concept of "Zones" refers to the ability to send different sources to different outputs. For example, a receiver could be handling the audio for a movie in the living room at the same time as playing a CD over speakers in the kitchen.

Oic, so wih Zones i'm able to play one source on the one zone and another source to another zone.
Are you able to play to any one zone?

You really need to tell us what receiver you're referencing. Zones could mean something completely different between manufacturers.
On my Harman/Kardon receiver, there are zone 2 outs (in a few different forms). I can select which input goes to the zone 2 outputs.
