Hi Folks:
Going to be spending the day putting my HT stuff together (new receiver, M60s, VP150, QS8s)...kind of intimidating since I haven't worried about new stuff for 12+ years. Wish me luck.
Also, quick question re: my old (yes, it's Bose) speakers...AM5 (bass module and 2 cube sets). I was planning on putting them in another room and using leftover 14GA speaker cable rather than the smaller cable that came with them...any problems doing so? I can't imagine it'd be a problem, but if you have an opinion to the contrary let me know.

it's more than 'should be fine' -- it WILL be fine. Upping from a lower gauge to a higher gauge is always welcome, unless you get gauge that's so thick it doesn't fit into your amp or speaker.... ever seen 4 gauge cable for car subs? you can go mountain climbing with that stuff!
