 M50ti's vs. M60ti's?

Are the M60s that much better than the M50s to justify the $180 price difference? Im considering getting the following system (as you may have read in my other thread) in the next couple of weeks:
Harman Kardon AVR-525
Axiom M50ti (or M60ti) Towers
Axiom QS8 Surrounds
Axiom VP150 Center
Hsu VTF-2 Subwoofer

As I'm sure many will attest here, yes.
In listening tests I did in a store, it's 2 different ballgames. That midrange driver seems to be the cause of what is a world of sonic difference. Maybe that's not the only reason, but regardless, the difference is clear.

It depends on what kind of sound you like. Most Axiom owners like clear, detailed, "forward sounding" speakers. If that's the case, the M60 is the clear winner. The M50's are more "laid back" in sound.

Welp, I just now ordered the M60s and the HK AVR-525 receiver, and will order the rest in a couple weeks. Im so excited!

M60's are like the M22's with more bass. Since that tells you nothing because you don't know what M22's sound like..... M60's are a more detailed speaker than the M50's. They have better soundstaging, as well.

You won't be sorry for going with the M60s - just upgraded to them from M22s and LOVE them.

Seriously, congratulations on making the right decision. Be careful -- the Axiom speakers will arrive VERY PUNCTUALLY, and very securely packaged.

"Securely packaged" is an understatement. I felt like I was performing surgery to get the 60s out of the double boxes! They do a great job protecting your investment.

Hehehe! Well, Im sure that title will change very quickly in the coming weeks
Hopefully my receiver and M60s will arrive by this weekend so Ill have time to play with them some. Im so excited!!
