I bring you this trainwreck that occurred during the last song, Jump, at a recent Van Halen concert. Made it better.

Wow. I can't decide if it was admirable or stupid for them to try and soldier through that. No, I can. Stupid. But funny!

More soundcheck, less Rogaine.

I'm more disturbed by him riding that mic.

I'm more disturbed by him riding that mic. Ain't that the truth, one of the weirdest, uncoolest things I've seen a rocker to do. Maybe if it was a female singer

Oh... my god. First chance I had to watch that. That is f'ing hilarious.
And I actually used to like that song. Might, still... sorry, everyone with taste.
Who the heck does that washed up bunch of jerks have singing lead now? And why doesn't that one guy put on a shirt? And why on Earth did they keep going?!

This is true, but... I might have stopped and tried to make a joke of it or something.

Ken, You are right. I thought they should stop as well and crack a joke or comment etc. The dangers of relying on recorded effects for live shows!

Yup. I have a live album from G&R, and I just wonder how they managed to get the vocals synced up--I can't think of anyone who has a similar enough voice to Axl Rose to sing backup.
