Robb, thanks for those M3s. I've been dying to listen to them.

It was a Bang & Olufsen Beocenter 7700 and 4 cherry wood veneer speakers that came as a package. In 1982/83 they were selling for just under $5,000 or so. I don't have the speakers anymore but I keep hanging on to the Beocenter 7700 to play all those albums that so many of us Loved collecting...

At one time it was in the museum of fine arts in New York. Thought maybe one day it would be worth a fortune. Turntable with recording features, cassette and AM radio only on those early days of Bang & Olafsen in Denmark. About 25 years later, mine still works perfectly with a new needle that cost me about $200. How technology has changed... \:\)

Here's one on youtube just as an example...

That was so high tech for the early 80s. The speakers must have been the Beovox S80.2. I have no idea actually how those particular speakers would compare with the Axioms. If however you had B&O cubes, I can tell you definitively that the Axioms would blow them away.

Once you guys have a chance to compare the M22s with M3s I would appreciate your thoughts on my post regarding my 18x13 listening area. Would you recommend a pair of M22s only, M22s & M3s or a mix including a pair of QSs or any other suggestions based on my explanation in that post. If others are passing through this thread please feel free to add your suggestions, now that I narrowed down the story on my 18x13 listening area... Trying to get things right...
