That was my own impressions, too, when I listened to the Axioms (M22's) for the first time at Mike's (mwc) house. I was impressed by how small they physically were, and then by how big they sounded. I didn't feel a brightness / harshness / aggressiveness at all, either -- it sounded very neutral to me. No wonder the Axioms timbre-match very well with my Hales.

To put your minds to rest, the car has warmed, the Yamahas are back at BB and the car has cooled. There never was anything to think about. I don't miss them one little bit. The deed has been done.

There aren't a lot of things that live up to the hype. Like The Matrix Reloaded, for example. You have to be particularly wary of scams on the Internet. Fortunately, as many of us have discovered, these Axioms are for real, and frequently surpass expectations. Hallelujah!
