 2 x QS8 vs 4 x M2i vs 3 x VP50

Well its only a couple more months till my new place is done. That being I will be needing to get the surrounds soon and have it all paid for before I move in.
The room is only 16 x 12 . All surround speakers will be mounted either on the sides or behind or both but will be at about 8 feet high on a concrete beams. The area that it will be in will have ceilings at 16.5 feet.
I have tried QS4, M22Ti and M3 for surrounds over the last little while in my rental place so I know how great they work. I know the M22Ti and M3 are too big and can be a bit obstrusive. The QS4 is a great size but QS8 definitely has more presence. Right now I am 60 music 40 movies. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Sat, since you already tried QS4 and M22 as surrounds, wouldn't your answer depend on how much you liked the more diffuse QS type of presentation? If you did find it rather attractive, wouldn't the most reasonable setup be 2 QS8s on the side and 2 M2s in back?

I'd go with the QS8s. I don't know that the VP50 is really suited for this. Of course, I've never heard any of them, so what do I know...
