I have a friend who is looking to buy a used pair of Axiom AX3s locally. The seller sent him these photos and said they were AX3s.
Can anyone conclusively identify these Axiom speakers?
Ian? Alan?

I thought these were the AX3s:

I'm the one who's been thinking about buying these, but probably will not.

Are they from the CT line, CT6 maybe? I happened to see them in the Trade-up Program.

Could be AX2s? Maybe AX1.5s? I'm just guessing here. I've never seen those before.

The AX line was not a square shaped speaker. If you look at Axioms vintage page those look nothing like what is shown.

I just checked with Brent Tombari to make sure I have my facts straight on these vintage Axioms.

Apparently the Axioms in the photo are AX-3s and are about 20 years old. The original AX-3s were not angled.
