You can just wire directly form one to the other, positive to positive and negative to negative, no extra amp required as you will set it up with a SPL meter and the center channel will be louder than the rest initially and then you end up dropping the output a little in the receiver.

Please take note that it will be a 3Ohm load for the amp.

Which pretty much any receiver will do for most HT volume levels

I forgot that the 4Ohm/8Ohm debate did not apply to 3Ohm. Sorry.

Your concern is valid. Many receivers could possibly have an issue with the 3ohm load created by two 6ohm speakers, for HT or music.

How about the Denon 3808ci? Any issues there? I won't be buying 2 centers for awhile... but it'd be nice to know if its possible with this receiver if/when I do.

I have had as low as 1.5 Ohms on my 1804 and 3808. Denon makes a rock solid product.
