Just make sure you sign up at the av123 forums rather than the avs forums. At the risk of sounding stupid....... These are not the same? I've never been involved in any HT forums other than this and Audioholics.... I always thought that AVS and AV123 were the same...?

Heh... not even vaguely. AV123 is the forum run by the people who sell Rockets and the like. AVS is an independent grouping of trolls audiophiles.
