I was just archiving some data here at work of some 35mm renders we'd done. We rendered it out for a client at hi-def...1920x1080. Though I already knew this...it just hit me that 1920x1080 is TINY.
Our STANDARD digital resolution is 4096x3002...we've begun working with 5616x4096. And on occasion we'll even scan negative at 8424x6144!
1920x1080? ...peanuts.

You must do a lot of scrolling to see the entire scans. What size is your monitor(s?) at work?

Craig, go for the upcoming projector that uses the new 4Kx2K D-ILA panels from JVC then. It's going to cost you a bit, but...
