Depends on how heavy you press on those Sharpies. Each player is different. Some need a deeper green than the other. So you can almost tweak back and forth on all those BRIGHT cds. Yeah it may seem like a full time job but hey you would spend all your money on those $5000 Nordost Valhalla cables might a well not work and you would not be able to afford those speaker wires and keep your dignity.

Actually The Gap has this most excellent display of 3 x 3 60" plasma. Boy thats a bigger picture than Sushi's setup. Gap is pretty happy with corner right Logo on those plasma's that never goes away when it is turned on and also when its all off.

I know, the last few days have been really boring. My daily surf of the forums hasn't resulted in any excitement. Maybe even I should stop being a lurker and start posting.

In reply to:

Is it national "get some work at work done" week or something? This board has been DEAD so far this week. I don't know what to do with myself during my down time here at work when there are no new posts to respond to.

I for one am VERY busy at work Hardly been at my desk - we have our Alpha coming up in 1 1/2 weeks - and we're at least a week behind

Sooo this means lots of work, little posty. Not that I'm "super poster" - I mean, compared to you, pm, sushi, and a few others I'm a complete mute

Hope to be back into form in 2 - 3 weeks though

sorry, I just find there is too much "clutter" to wade through.

I'd really like to see this place add an "off topic" forum, it might streamline things a bit.

Totally agree - An off topic forum would REALLY help things

I think the forum layout was quite suitable before Axiom was "discovered". In the beginning I can remember coming on after being away for a week and finding about 10 new posts, today that number would be well over 100.

I'd love to see the following added:

-Receivers and Amps (or any other types of electronics)
-Trading Post (any electronics but only Axiom speakers))
-The Listening Room (an off topic forum)

now back to work

I'm here, chaos has been ruling in my abode for the last 4 days. New carpet and tile has been installed in the entire upstairs. We had to deconstruct the entire upstairs so the floorlayers could do their thing. Now the doors don't fit, and I don't have a skillsaw. If I had one I'd probably cut my hand off. Our old desktop was taken down. I'm in the basement now using my son's computer.

It might be some time until I again have empty hours to fill. New baby, return to work, and I'm leaving the laptop at home for as long as I can. Having wireless internet in my classroom is WAY too tempting. Why not pop in a movie, put my feet up, surf the net, and watch those standardized test scores plummet? Oh well, not my kids, eh?
