The first five people who PMed have their CDs in the mail as of this morning. Couple more to go.

I couldn't wait and brought Sean's to work today to listen to the rest between meetings. Since Pandora got arrested at the US border, this is really rekindling my music exploration cravings.

Don't worry about not liking some of the songs. I realize Deerhoof may not be for everyone, but it certainly is different. Besides, I think the new experiences are kinda what this CD swap is all about. That's why I'm looking forward to yours.

Actually, I didn't say I didn't like it. I truly enjoyed it as a new experience. It might even be one of the ones I buy the CD of, just so I can experiment with more of the genre. Call me 'pleasantly undecided' for now.

What OS are you on, and what software are you trying to use?

xp home. I've always used eac and lame for mp3s, but that's it. So, I have eac and whatever is in windows.
For some reason I always thought wav. was what was on cds, it's not. \:\(

Well, ideally whatever software you're trying to use to burn your CD would take care of converting your sound files appropriately into an audio CD. Windows Media Player's Burn tab should let you pick and choose your MP3s. You just drag the files you want, and you can see the song list and how much time it takes up. They're just normal MP3s?

Try using CDex. Free and good to convert and burn. It can do MP3 - Wav - CDA and viceversa. Can also get song and album information from CDDB. It gets useful when ripping songs to machine. Won't overwrite the other album with Unknow Album - Unknow Artist - Track1

Good site for all the free tools and info
