Hope you and your blinky light avatar have a good one.

Don't you want to upgrade that hoopty to a Simpsonmobile?

Wayne, I hope you are having a good birthday. Are you following in the footsteps of Jack Benny and celebrating 39? Again. ;\)

Thanks guys,

I was expecting a very quiet day but a 3 hour lunch with my brother changed all that. A few Coronas also gave me the courage to finally hook up my wireless router (D-Link), no idea why it took me so long to get around to it, it was such an easy install.

As much as 39 sounds attractive I have to face the truth that it's really 62.

As for the avatar I think it's staying

\:D Is beer and electronics a good mix?

edit--rather than change is to are, I'm going to refer to beer and electronics as a singular entity. problem solved!

62 is the craziest number I've ever heard of. Keep the streak alive.

Happy Birthday FordPerfect!!!

Sunday on our trail run we came across a Bronco half way up an embankment with his rear end resting against a tree. He slid into a hole in the rock too deep to go forward and couldn't back up due to the tree.
I got to drive up the embankment to winch him out of the hole.

Not making fun of Fords, I've slid into that hole too. Just wondering if it might have been you out celebrating your birthday.

With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

Wayne, sorry I missed the party. I always enjoy your observations and witticisms, and hope you'll grace us with your presence more often. Cheers!

Thanks again for all the birthday wishes! Two weeks ago I was in London and loved every minute of it.

It was just the break I needed. Of all things I went over there with my brother and his wife (yes I am well aware how that sounds) to visit our 93 year old uncle.

He is an amazing man and is very healthy for his age. We spent 4 days in Kent with him and my cousin and his wife. Then it was back to London for the remainder of the trip.

It's hard to believe that this August 11th will be my mother's birthday and also the six month anniversary of Mary's death. I have been so very lucky in the last six months to have such extraordinary friends and family. I have to echo what I've said on previous occasions that this forum has also been a great asset.

Life does indeed go on and I intend to make the most of it.

..and no, I'm really not a Ford fan \:\)

God knows what my spelling will be like, I've had a cat "helping" me compose this.

Beautiful pic, Wayne. Sounds like you had a good time over in England.
