I wanted to let you all know that my daughter arrived to greet the world yesterday. Marin Marie, 6 lbs 13 oz, 20 inches long, and totally healthy (sigh of relief).

The Axiom education/indoctrination will begin in a few months... ;\)

That is awesome news, I'm very happy for you and your family. Nothing like having a few kids around to poke your woofers. \:\)

Thanks all - this truly is a great forum group. \:\)

Last night went well, the baby managed to sleep the whole night with only 2 1-hour breaks for feeding. This compares to the night before where the baby was awake all night with only 2, 30-minute breaks for sleeping. \:\)

Awesome news! Congrats! I assume she's your first. Mine is 19 months now, and every month gets more and more fun than the last.

Just make sure to cherish every minute of her. Sooner than you know, she'll be ignoring you in public, hi-jacking your Axioms to play [insert boy band a la moment here] at ear bleeding levels and begging to borrow the car. Right now, you and mom are her whole world - so, indulge in the moment.

Another congratulations!!! Prepare for the ride of your life... I can't echo strongly enough Capn's thoughts. They change so fast and grow so quickly; enjoy the fact that you are this little girl's entire world right now. \:\)

Congrats Jason. There I am talking about risers before I read through all of the sections only to find out you've had the baby. Man, I'm behind. Love the name, and she is awfully cute. Let me know if there is anything we can do locally to help out. Best wishes.
