I've been wanting a device to watch cable in a room where I don't have a box, but I'm a bit confused on how this works. Do you need 2 of these units, one at the source connected to the DVR and another at the receiving end. I'm at a loss on how this works. SlingCatcher

After doing a little more research it appears you would need a Slingbox also. It would probably be cheaper to just get another satellite box hooked up. Anyone have any experience with these devices?
